Background & Prof Essional Journey

1) Anurag is a third-generation photographer who has been professionally active since 2010. He transitioned to mirrorless systems in 2018, beginning with Sony, and quickly established a distinct identity through award-winning work and leadership within the photography community. He is a recipient of the highest photography award in Madhya Pradesh at a young age and has since earned over 125 national and international awards, including 30+ Gold Medals. His work has been exhibited in 45 group shows across 32 countries, including the USA, UAE, Australia, and Montenegro.
2) Anurag has won major government and institutional competitions, including: 1st Prize in a Mandana art–based photography competition awarded by the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh (2014) 2nd Prize in a press photography competition by the Government of Telangana (2017) 3rd Prize at the All India Photography Competition during the Kumbh Mela, organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh He has also won First Prize twice (2018, 2019) in Sony India’s National Photography Competitions. A committed contributor to the photographic ecosystem, Anurag has chaired six national-level competitions under India’s national photography body since 2019—an unprecedented record. He is a Founder Member of Malwa Photo Foundation (est. 2017), one of India’s most active photography clubs, which organized the country’s first FIAP & PSA-recognized Digital International Exhibition in 2020.
